Umfangreich in 4K restauriert erscheint DONNIE DARKO im September in einer limited Collectors Edition, Restauriert wurden sowohl die ursprüngliche Kinofassung, als auch Kellys 20 Minuten längerer Director’s Cut des Films von 2004. Die Edition enthält neben beiden Filmfassungen über 240 Minuten Bonusmaterial, ein Booklet und weitere Goodies und wird nicht nur Fans von Donnie und Frank begeistern!

    Danke für die Ankündigung. Hätte ich sicher sonst nicht gesehen.
    Ich verzichte sehr gerne auf so einen Quatsch wie Tattoo, Poster, die man eh nie aufhängt oder Postkarten, die man nur einmal anguckt und dann in der Box lässt und zahle dafür 10 oder sogar 20€ weniger.

    Weiß nicht ob du 4kler bist, aber ich denke dann kennst du bestimmt schon auch diese Edition, oder???
    Darauf wird auch sicher die Version von StudioCanal basieren. Glaube nicht das die nach Arrow den jetzt selber nochmal remastered haben. Und Arrow hat das Teil schon 2016 remastered in 4K! Nur damals nicht in/auf UHD rausgebracht.

      Danke für die Info. Kenne ich. Habe noch das Arrow Steelbook und paar DVDs mit verschiedenen Versionen zum Film. Daher habe ich bisher noch keine weitere Edition gekauft. Eine Edition mit den cuts und einem informativen booklet/Buch und netten Cover für max. 25€. Das wäre ideal. :D

    Leider zu spät mitbekommen, dass es eine Arthaus VÖ geben wird, denn ich habe mir schon das Update über die Arrow Edition gegönnt und habe noch das alte Arrow Steelbook. Ein Vergleich zwischen beiden Ausgaben wäre nach Veröffentlichung spannen. Was denkt ihr?

    Vom Preis her sind mir die aktuellen Arthaus Veröffentlichungen !ohne Steelbook! etwas zu teuer. Hoffe sehr, dass die Editionen mal im Preis sinken und dann attraktiver werden. Aber Mulholland Drive als 4K-Abtastung von Criterion finde ich schon sehr verlockend…
